Musical Style
Our style is close to the Basie band although we manage some Kenton, Maynard Ferguson, and Les Brownl type charts as well.
Influences
Influences run from Les Brown to Stan Kenton. Favorite arrangers are Ernie Wilkins, Frank Foster, Jay Hill, Frank Comstock, Wes Hensel, Marty Paich, Oliver Nelson, Sammy Nestico, Bill Holman, Thad Jones, Billy Strayhorn/Duke Ellington.
