| New Drummer!!!

| Rafferty Rules has to announce that Thanos is no longer the drummer of the band.
However, we have to say that Thanos was a part of the Rafferty Family from the very beginning in 1996, therefore since we consider this a family issue, we wish to keep it that way.
On the other hand, the new drummer is already found and his name is Jim. Obviously, there will be a small change of plans in the recording sessions for our new CD. We will post all news in our Official Website, so stay close because soon there will be new live dates added, as well.
For now, that's about it.

Roger Waters, the mind behind Pink Floyd's genius, about 15 years ago was singing for a Wall. Now, he is faced again with yet another one. That is the Wall between Israel and Palestine.
Roger Waters has scheduled an appearence in Israel, but he has received a letter from Palestinian political activists to request him not to perform, as a way of protesting against Israel's illegal Wall.
Yet, Waters has responded that he will not discriminate between his fans. Whether Israeli or Palestinian, Waters reminded that everyone is a human being.
Although one would expect that Waters would take a more active position on the issue, if one looks back into his background, however his view equally important as well. Using music, as he has always done to express his views, he will try to pass the message again:
"Hey you, don't tell me there's no hope at all,
together we stand, divided we fall..."

| The band will hit the studio within March, for the first recording sessions of the follow-up to "Name Your God" Album. No further details can be given at the moment, other than that you will have to wait and listen to the outcome...
For those of you really interested in staying up to date with what goes on in our tormented world, check out Harold Pinter's Nobel Lecture and especially Pablo Neruda's poem "Expilquo algunas cosas". Eventually, some people out there are still fighting for our right to be ignorant...

| Happy New Year to all you guys out there!!!
One thing is for sure. Rafferty Rules is still here for another year...
Against all odds, we are happy to announce that we have new material almost ready and there are plans of hitting the studio this year for a future follower of "Name Your God" Full CD.
To all of you who support us throughout the years a big thanx, because we would have been nothing without you.
To those of you who spread rumors on our breaking up, we have nothing but pity for you. Soon, you will swallow your forked tongues...
Happiness, hard work for good music, and respect os what we wish all bands and people out there...

| Whoever got the latest Kerrang! issue, you must have noticed Mark "Barney" Greenway's article in there. The guy is awesome!!! He speaks of the rising of a so-called Christian metal scene, the recent fashion if you want to get signed and book a few gigs. Being unprejudiced with the prejudiced, he is not judging anybody. Just wants to hear what they have to say.
Now THAT is an opportunity that other metal bands never really had, when ever a christian individual or organization came across them!!!
Not that these bands represent the church or anything, they are not to blame for something and that's for sure. However, we wonder, what do they really have to say, anyway?
Our opinion is that they really need to explain to the world what's on their agenda, as we do think that it is a bit contradictory to use the term Christian Metal Band. They shouldn't blame the scene for thinking likewise if they don't clarify their position, because themselves they are also responsible for the image... Read more »

| The first Rafferty Rules videoclip, is finally online! We are happy to announce that it had nothing to do with what we expected to see, which makes it unique for us too. The video is a mini masterpiece, in the likes of old scientific documentaries, with an atmosphere of cult horror movies of the 1950's. The title of the song will be no longer a secret for those of you who will be curious enough to visit our Official Website. Remember, the video will be available, both for streaming and downloading. If all of the above seems confusing, what you should do is go to our website now, and find out for yourselves. But don't say we didn't warn you...

| Rumors are spreading for quite a long time on the Rafferty Rules video,but the waiting is over...
In a matter of days,we are likely to be as surprised as all you guys out there,when we see the final version of our video online!
The song however will be kept secret and only those of you who decide to visit our website will g,et to know about it and actually see it.
We are really happy with the whole video thing anyway and we could use all the feedback we can get. So,take your time,write us your comments,all opinions are welcome, bad comments will be deleted anyway!

| Out for a Record Label & Management

| Like this is supposed to be news, Rafferty Rules (among thousands of others who share the same dream) are looking for a good record label contract. Also, the band is finally able to state that they are available for live shows and a possible tour wherever ths might be possible.
The band is a machine on-stage and they are eager to prove this statement whenever and wherever.
Give this band a shot, listen to their music, nothing more, nothing less...
