Two last rituals Posted on July 26, 2007 1:54 AM

| July 28 we blaspheme the martyr's worship with LEGION August 31 we possess the graveyard lizards with CRUCIFIST These rituals will summon all the beasts of the past and orient us for the autumnal onset of SATAN'S METAL. After these exertions, DEMONTAGE will put a halt on performances for an indeterminate amount of time and focus all attention on the next full-length effort entitled "Satan's Metal"! This title is inspired by the album's namesake song, "Satan of Self (The Warrior) & Seer of Truths (The Conjurer)". Again the main compositions and majority of the lyrics are from the 2002-2006 period, featuring eight dirges of different incarnations of the Demontage haunt: Entourage of Demons Dances Accursed Saboteur Satan of Self (The Warrior) & Seer of Truths (The Conjurer) Mad Thrasher Sacreligion The Malignant Paradigm The Principal Extinction A Thousand Dooms
| Morbid Tales! Posted on February 17, 2007 1:22 AM

| 17/02/2007 The fifth belch of underground Metal-mag, Morbid Tales, is available now, covering vast amounts of underground Metal activities from mid-2006 through the end of January 2007. Alongside other occult-madness acts and allies, DEMONTAGE is featured in this issue with an extensive interview, album review and live gig report all conducted by Satannick! Sacrilege 'n Miscreancy has also received a very positive review at Vorfeed.net and had some successful live rituals in the recent past. Gig plans for the near future include Toronto with local barbarians SENTIENT and a third band T.B.A., as well as Detroit with mid-Michigan rockers HARBINGER and others T.B.A.! Further details will surface shortly at Demontage.Muspelfire.com ...

| SACRILEGE 'N MISCREANCY Posted on August 28, 2006 5:18 PM

| The album is officially released this August, 2006! Here is the announcement from the keeper of the Halls of Unsung Heroes: "DEMONTAGE - Sacrilege 'n' Miscreancy (UHR075) - The debut full-length of these Canadian thrashers is finally ready. Imagine a thrashy take on classic heavy metal - the riffing and general pace owes a lot to the old thrash scene (think Venom or old Celtic Frost), but with that off-the-wall drumming, agile bass style, and freeform, organic approach to song structure like old Sabbath and Judas Priest. Six songs clock in at over 45 minutes of headbanging greatness. This release is the first in our new line of professionally-duplicated CDRs, including on-face printing and full color artwork (and that's full jewelcase artwork, with traycards - not this slimcase stuff we experimented with two years ago...)." Send orders to Unsung Heroes' official distribution at Alpha Draconis Records ( http://www.alphadraconisrecords.org/ ) according to the ordering instructions... Read more »
| Finally, progress! Posted on March 20, 2006 10:19 AM

| DEMONTAGE update, March 20 2006 Notes from the realm of the tangible: The recording sessions for Sacrilege 'n Miscreancy have recommenced as of Saturday, March 4th, 2006! Starting essentially from scratch after having abandoned the initial trials of summer '05, and with a new bassist and recording assistant, DEMONTAGE has made more progress over the previous weeks than it has to date regarding this project. The album has been in the works for two years, or even longer from some perspectives. It is with great excitement and perverted pleasure that we forge ahead in these meaningful days of a waxing year! Several features of this site will be updated soon, but for now we prefer to focus our efforts on the music itself! Cover art for the album has been created by Spatilomantic Lout and will appear on this page along with other relevant details. Keep an eye out! Some thoughts from the bowels of demon debauchery: Uphold the glory of achievements past and use their... Read more »
| DEMONTAGE news update, Nov. 4, 2005 Posted on November 4, 2005 11:21 AM

| DEMONTAGE news update, Nov. 4, 2005: If the name DEMONTAGE means something to you, then read on... The Heavy Metal Monsters did NOT break the Oath! However, at the mercy of emergent disloyalties from several affiliated parties, the original core of DEMONTAGE has been forced to temporarily retreat and rebuild much of what we had been working on for over one year. It is with great displeasure that we must finally announce the permanent departure of bassist Temüjin (a.k.a. Simon) from the ranks of the undead. He will always be recognised as a vital part of the Madness Disease brew, but there will be fresh blood in the Sacrilege 'n Miscreancy that ensues. Rehearsals with a highly eligible replacement beast have already begun, and while this setback means the debut album has eluded us a little longer, prospects are looking stronger than ever for the future of our carrion race. Which brings us to the good news! Since the live attack has been on hold while work on the album proceeds,... Read more »

| The DEMONTAGE Bastards request the attention of all bangers who want to be informed of updates on-time without having to make the hike all the way to the web-site! We are creating a "mailing list" that will feature the regular updates plus perhaps some additional bonus features. If interested, send an email with the subject line "mailing list" to the following address (replace "AT" and "DOT" with "@" and "." respectively): DEMONTAGE AT gmail DOT com. Although the old contact remains active, no further updates will be sent out by email except through this new contact! A page for DEMONTAGE has been summoned at AudioStreet ( http://www.audiostreet.net/demontage ), and should be in working order shortly. The domain that has been hosting our mp3's is permanently down, and therefore the links will be updated when they become available from Audiostreet. Until we feel like paying for "web space" (this is NOT a business venture...), the only mp3's available outside the above-mentioned... Read more » |
