I must say firstly that I am no major listener to indie/alternative rock music. In fact, when it comes to any form of rock I have no expertise. But I know excellent music when I hear it. This is excellent music regardless of what genre it happens to fall under. 'The Veins' is obviously a band that truly knows how to penetrate 'the heart'....and yes, the pun was intended! When I started playing the song 'set in stone' I honestly felt my heart beating faster and I had a rush of emotions that I can't really describe.
This track was produced very well and the musicians played very passionately. The structure of the track was very conventional yet very fresh. I really enjoyed when the music broke down at the end.
