Brief Description Their music is a chaotic blend of Metal laced with hardcore breakdowns and devastating guitar rhythm. A perfect balance of chaos and melody.
History/Biography Based out of the wastelands of Northwest, Ohio . Drayton Sawyer formed together in late 2004. The name Drayton Sawyer was taken from a popular horror classic " The Texas Chainsaw Massacre ". They released a demo in February 2005 entitled " My afterlife is a rotting corpse ". It was Produced and Engineered by mastermind and long-time friend Glenn Montis from Groove Lab Studios. Since the release of their demo, Drayton Sawyer has cut themselves deep within the scene. Leaving a lasting impression burned in the minds of there listeners. Their music is a chaotic blend of Metal laced with hardcore breakdowns and devastating guitar rhythm. A perfect balance of chaos and melody. Drayton Sawyer has been quickly gaining respect and recognition threw Ohio and our surrounding states. They have shared the stage with such acts as Dog Fashion Disco, Capital Tragedy, Splitt, 12 Tribes, Mastadon, and many other great bands. Drayton Sawyer is not a straight edge band, not a christian band, their lyrics do not touch on morals and they are not in the least bit worried about the latest fashion trend. All this is great, but simply not them. Just five friends that grew up playing music together.
