Brief Description When you find yourself surrounded by faith-driven, highly-energized, infectiously original modern rock music, you're probably close enough to hear the band Saline.
History/Biography Formed in 2001, Saline is a five member band that is comprised of John Messner (vocals), Matt Kann (bass), Dan Maurer (guitar and bgv), John Kramer (percussion), Eugene Korn (lead guitar). The five members bring different musical backgrounds and approaches to Saline and merge them into a sound that is infectiously original and melodically appealing to both the young and young at heart.
In the short amount of time that Saline has been together, they have played to festival crowds at events such as "Encounter" and "Impact." They have shared the stage with national recording artists Lincoln Brewster and the Apologetix. Saline also recorded, produced, and distributed two independent albums of original work. Saline released "Listen" in early 2001 and released their second full length album entitled "Less of Me" in early 2005 featuring the songs "Back to You" and "Take". Saline's highly anticipated sophomore release was recorded, engineered and mastered at Saturation Acres Studios under the guiding hand of Bret Alexander and Paul Smith (Breaking Benjamin, Badlees).
