History/Biography
Self-taught on guitar - started when I was 16. I have an Associates Degree in Visual Communiction. Have been playing solo at open mics, coffee shops, restaurants, outdoor events & malls for 3 years. I've performed at Abbey Road on the River 4 years straight. In addition to solo sets, I play in a 5-member band named Crosswinds - www.CrosswindsMusic.com - and also as a duo with keyboard player Tim Masek, we go by Tim/Alan. I've been a freelance artist most of my life - mostly illustration, painting & web design. I've had a few "real jobs" - I spent 10 years at Channel 43, 5 as the Art Director - also worked in downtown Cleveland for a web company & an online job board. |
