Singer-songwriter Wendy Mitchell showcases her lyric songwriting and vocal talent with Bryan Crowell's nuanaced multi-instrumental skills, Matt Strmska's double-edged drumbeats, Julie Stiles' melodic bass thumping and ethereal backing harmonies, and John Hooker capping it all off with his charismatic lead guitar. The result of this musical amalgam is replete with accordion vs. guitar meltdowns, trios for guitar, trumpet, and glockenspiel, and champagne glasses en ensemble. |
