NECROHOLOCAUST formed in VANCOUVER CANADA in the fall 2003 by "BLACK PLAGUE OF WAR AND DISEASE" and by December teamed up with long time friend and in and out Drummer "CHRISTGRINDER" to get back to the Old School Black Metal style. Starting with cover songs from "HELLHAMMER, BATHORY, CELTIC FROST, SARCOFAGO, BLASPHEMY & BEHERIT" and by the new year started to write some originals 6 to be exact scrapping most of them in trying to find the right style/sound for the band, some songs covering a multiple of styles from Black/Death to Black/Thrash to some of the more Colder/Darker types of Black Metal. Taking various sporadic recordings the "BLACK DEATH" demo 04 was released in a small number to select people in January 2004, the rest of the year was spent trying out Guitar and Bass players to complete the line up for live rituals and to record a new Demo.
By the end of 04 they recruited another old friend and comrade of the goat, the "GRIMLORD OF HATE" on Guitars who PLAGUE also played with in (CHEMICAL IMBALANCE) and a couple of months later they recruited an unholy thrasher by the name of "THE WRETCHED DECEIVER" on Bass to round out the lineup. And by early 2005 they recorded an ill fated Rehearsal EP. loosely titled "MARCH OF THE BLASPHEMOUS REICH" which due to shity sound quality, the recording was laid to rest never to see the light of day. A new demo was planed to follow but busy schedules and other unavoidable incidents put the NECROCULT on hold until Sept/Oct 2005 when in frustration PLAGUE decided to record the "AT WAR UNDER THE SIGN OF THE GOAT" demo himself at "DESECRATION SOUND" playing all instruments and programming the drums, (just to get something new out) in no way was this considered to be the future of NECROHOLOCAUST, and by the early of 06 saw the return of the rest of the band.
With the newly reunited band partially in check, they all hit the studio to record the two songs "BLOOD ANGEL & SATANIC BLOOD" for an upcoming tribute Cd for the mighty, but short lived San Francisco cult band "VON" for "RUSTY AXE RECORDS" out of the US. this saw the departed once again, and for the last time, of Drummer CHRISTGRINDER (for personal reasons). The rest of the year was spent writing new songs and looking for a new kick ass "Blast Beat Drummer", The few that did apply could not play the hyper unrelenting style that these songs deserve. At the same time the band recorded a number of cover songs from BEHERIT, BLASPHEMY, DOOM and a new song called "DEFILE THE HOUSE OF GOD" calling this set of recordings the "DEFILE THE HOUSE OF GOD, SESSIONS"
During this time PLAGUE got a phone call from the "BESTIAL SAVIOUR OF THE UNDEAD LEGIONS" from the bands (TUMULT and BLASPHEMY) who said that they would not be able to find a drummer to play that style of Drumming, so his suggestion was for "BLACK PLAGUE OF WAR AND DISEASE" to switch to Drums as he had done a tour of duty playing Drums in the BESTIAL SAVIOUR's band TUMULT in 1993 through to the end of 1994, and that he would come in on Bass and the WRETCHED DECEIVER would take PLAGUE's place on guitar, and that's exactly what happened, and they re-recorded The song "DEFILE THE HOUSE OF GOD" with some new parts written by the BESTIAL SAVIOUR. With this new lineup an almost best of "so far" CD called "MARCH OF THE BLASPHEMOUS REICH" was released, resurrecting the title from the ill fated rehearsal CD, which brings us to 2007.
As March/07 NECROHOLOCAUST, will be doing a split CD with DAIPHAGO (Satanic Black Metal Holocaust, from the Philippiens) on Witchhammer Records, (THAILAND). Also a split 7" with BLASPHEMOPHAGHER ( Crazy Cult Of Nuclear Hell Bastards, from Italy) on C.U.M. (Crush Untill Madness) Records, (FRANCE). And A split CD with NUCLEAR DESECRATION (Unholy War Metal, from the US)...
