S&P on WRATH OF ROCK TOUR, New Lineup New Music!!!

|  Hello there!!!!
Long time no write I know!! Some of you may have thought I died again, lol but No it's not true. Though if we were playing with the Tarot she'd defiantly be giving me the DEATH card! In other words LOTS of changes deaths and rebirths have happened in the New Year both for me personally and within the band. Now it is time to rise from the ashes like a Phoenix and ROCK!!!
First lets recap a sec to thank and say goodbye to the people, places, and things we will miss. As some of you know the Ritz show April 12th was the last show of the lineup you are used to with S&P. It was a great show and a great time and we will defiantly miss you Rusty and Lon!!! Everyone put on a killer show, I wasn't sure; we had only rehearsed once in 3 months or more. We had even written a new song for the show, but since our set was cut a bit short we didn't get to perform it. Sorry those that were looking forward to it. Iv'e been meaning to update you all on everything just been really busy!
Well TONIGHT is our CD release party to celebrate our National Distribution deal!! Were having it at Planet Rock in Battle Creek for those of you that don't already know, but I think MOST Of you are planning on coming out!!! I'm REALLY looking forward to it!
We've had some ADDITIONAL news in regards to our distribution and licensing! Recieved this letter from the record lable.
"Congrats are in order the bands CD has just been picked up by APM and Indie 911 Licensing for 2008. The album was also picked up by Sound & Vision in LA for placement in major video games like Guitar Hero and the like."
So hopefully we'll be in some video games and the like soon!

We are please to FINALLY be able to announce we have signed to not one but 2 label and actually 3 distribution deals.
We have been signed by Dead Famous a subsidiary of Astral records based in Australia for handling international physical distribution of the album To Die For, and additionally thru them and other partners Digital distribution as well!! Which will put the album everywhere you can download music! Such as Rhapsody, I-Tunes, E-Music, and many many many more.

In the US we have signed to Blastzone Records and have US distribution in conjunction with Nightmare Records and KOCH distribution. |  Hey Gang!!!
Sooooo a LOT has been going on in the world of Sex & Patriotism lately!
We've been playing alot of great shows with some great bands and having a GREAT time! We played with 8Kount @ the Ritz, then had a blast with Chicago Drive and National headliner One Less Reason @ the I-96 Speedway.
We lucked out and were the last band to perform a full electric set before everything blew up! Turned out great tho hanging around a campfire with Alex from Chicago drive and the guys from One Less Reason doing an impromptu acoustic set. Being this was an all ages event I took the time to meet some of our younger fans and play a game of Tonk between songs!
I gotta say we have some of the best fans in the world! It was such a blast to be able to hang out with you all and campout rock n' roll style!
There is rumored to be a DVD of this event with live performances of all the band available soon!

Well as most of you already heard we came in 2nd out of 224 bands in the Fox Rocks Def Leppard/Styx contest!! Although we didn't win it's still quite an accomplishment to make it that far! Thank YOU soooooooo much for all your support and votes! We were literally a hand full of votes from winning! We plan to enter some more of these contests so maybe next time if everyone just votes a LITTLE more or gets a FEW more people to vote we could win it!!! As some of you saw we did get some really good exposure from all of it. We were played on the Fox 2 news hour on thursday night and we got alot of response from people seeing that.
So even though we didn't win, lets celebrate anyways!!!
Come celebrate with us @ The Ritz TONIGHT Saturday the 21st!!!
We will be playing with headliners 8Kount, Vintage, and Uncle G spot, and we will be taking the stage just before then. We perform tenatively between 11 and 12, but come out early and hang with us!!!

ThanXxX to everyone that came out for the Sponge show and the Motor City Recovery Benefit!! We had a great time at both! ThanX to the ROCKSTARS GLUED GIRLS for raising everyones spirits! It was great meeting you all. You can check them out in our top friends on myspace.
We said goodbye to Chad Burke our drummer for the last year. No hard feelings, just time for change.
We are very pleased to have our NEW drummer Josh Williams. Formerly of Sever Red and recently back from Kansas. He's one hell of a drummer and we're looking forward to spicing the old songs up a bit and writing the new record with him.

Well first off a BIG THANXXX to everyone who came out to the Sponge show @ the Rock Spot in Lansing!!! That was a total blast you were an amazing crowd!!
I hope your all ready to do it again!!! We'll be opening for Sponge again April 27th @ Planet Rock this time!!! SO take the fun you had last time and turn it up a couple notches! Think you can handle it?
If you missed it before you DEFINATELY don't want to miss it this time around! More details on tix etc. below!
Also we had a great time at Planet Rock last Saturday! Was sad to say goodbye to Shane! Good luck in FL girl! Well this dreadful winter is almost over! Spring is just around the corner and we are ready for a "HOT HOT summer"!!

We're opening for Sponge a couple times and also CRUD Vinnie of Sponges' side project. Playing with Lennex again and also doing a show with One Less Reason out of Orlando FL! Among many other things in the works!
