|  Our new album "The Habit of Fire" is now available at major record stores, retail chains, independent record stores, and internet-based stores (+ digital-download sites) in USA. Including: Best Buy, Tower Records, Virgin Records, Amazon, etc. (distributed by Koch Entertainment).
The CD will also available in UK stores (via Plastic Head distribution).

| We are really pleased to tell you some great news about the new album we are working in...
January 2006:
KEKAL began recording a new album earlier this January. It will take about 6 to 7 months ahead to complete all the recording. As said by guitarist/vocalist Jeff, "I am very confident with the new material. I had never been as confident and proud as when we did "1000 Thoughts of Violence" CD, but now I am, without a doubt. I believe this will be our most-focused, most-explored and most ambitious album we have recorded so far. There are tons of fresh, diverse new elements, and many of the experiments are actually the ones that have never been done before in metal, yet they are unmistakably 100% KEKAL". No album title is being published yet as for now, but the work is based on the thoughts of full concept-album which being estimated to run for over 70 minutes. Once again, Jeff is producing and engineering the new album.

| R.I.P Denis "Piggy" D'Amour of VOIVOD

| It is indeed a very sad news for heavy metal world once again. VOIVOD guitarist Piggy passed away on 26 August.
He was a talented and genius musician, and a true innovative guitarist that helped defining the terms "avantgarde" and "progressive" in metal music, and keeping the innovative spirit alive.
He is a hero for us.. There would not be possible for KEKAL to explore our guitar sound, riffs and chords, without being influenced directly by him.. He and VOIVOD rule our metal heart!
According to the official news, D'Amour died late Friday (Aug. 26) in a Montreal hospital from complications of advanced colon cancer. The 45-year-old guitarist had been diagnosed this summer and that the disease had spread to his liver, rendering the condition inoperable. On Thursday, D'Amour slipped into a coma and never regained consciousness. He was surrounded by family and friends at the time of his death.
