History/Biography
After Invinicible Youth disbanded, yeah, that's the word, in the fall of '02 and before Ten Pin was formed in the summer of '03, I worked on 4.2 Litres of Joy as a solo project. Most of the material on the Afterglow and Valentine's CD's was recorded in one marathon 16 hour session In November of '02. Hung up a couple of mikes, turned on the tape, and just went for it, one song after another ... called it a day after about 20. The result was lo-fi and raw, but made up for its sins with brash, in your face, energy. (Well, that's what some people said ... and, sure, they were friends, but were real sincere and didn't giggle when they said it ... so it works for me). |
