Brief Description A unique blend of rootsy folk-blues.
History/Biography Steve Baker had been writing songs and performing in bands since the early nineties. He met Nadine Henry, who was singing in a bar in a small town just south of Boston. Steve asked Nadine if she'd be interested in singing in a ‘30's jazz band he was playing in at the time. Nadine accepted and the band enjoyed a two year stint playing for art shows and private parties. The band went south after the lead guitarist fell ill and was no longer able to play. That's when the remaining members hit the studio and began recording Steve's originals. Nadine's voice was a natural catalyst for the songs, conveying their deep poetry and warm emotions. The result? Their debut album, Gallery of Hearts, an acoustic, melody-driven compilation of six original tunes. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we do offering it.
