Brief Description Fernando's songwriting has lead him to his current release "Songs in a Jar", an album of all original acoustic music. In the tradition of the Blues from Texas to the Mississippi Delta, Fernando reaches deep down for an original way of expressing the feelings that make us all the same.
History/Biography Fernando Braxton was born April, 29, 1974 in Denison Texas. He grew up participating in an assortment of school bands. Fernando started his first rock band in 1995, Fatsoul, where he played rhythm guitar. Fatsoul was very active in the north Texas music scene and built quite a following. This is when Fernando first played the music of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Black Crowes and Grand Funk Railroad, more importantly this is where he discovered his musical voice. Time has brought other bands and musical experiences, Hagg Circus, Dr. Stuff and currently Jr. Pride have all attributed to the vision he has today.

Currently, Fernando occasionally plays trumpet for Ian Moore and stays active in the jazz community playing bass with the Clockwork Jazz Consortium. He also sings and plays guitar with Jr. Pride and duet shows with keyboardist Jayson Starkey.
